  • 500 grams of chicken breast cut into boneless squares.

  • Olive oil

  • 200 milliliters of chicken broth
  • 15 grams of cornstarch
  • 20 grams of sugar
  • 20 grams of honey
  • 60 milliliters of orange juice
  • 30 milliliters of lemon juice
  • 15 grams of vinegar rice
  • 30 milliliters of sherry vinegar
  • 30 grams of Cambray onion finely chopped
  • 1 sachet of yeast
  • Vegetable oils according to taste

How to prepare the chicken in sweet and sour sauce

For the preparation of this healthy chicken recipe, follow these steps:

To prepare the chicken: The chicken will be bathed in Orly pasta. We will need about 200 gr of flour, a dash of extra virgin olive oil and a chemical yeast sachet. We clean the green pepper and we cut it into rather large squares, like the onion and fry it in a slow fire in olive oil.

Prepare a skillet with plenty of oil. Since it is hot put the pieces of chicken and battered one by one (to avoid sticking) when they are well browned and removed and placed on napkins to remove excess oil.

To prepare the agrodolce sauce: In the blender add the water or cold chicken stock and add the cornstarch. Mix and remove any remaining lumps. Add sugar, honey, orange juice and lemon, soy vinegar, sherry. Place this mixture in a pot add the Cambray onion and heat.

Since it is half boiled, we put our sauce with the peppers that we made with the chicken and we add the chicken. Serve this chicken with sweet and sour sauce along with wine by your own choice. Remember, it serves great for weight loss, but do not exaggerate with it!
